Academics

"Our learners are employable when
they leave school"

Work-readiness Development

Lion Pride Academic model is an innovative educational framework designed to prepare learners for the 21st century by integrating CAPS-aligned academics with practical skills development, entrepreneurship, industry partnerships, and work readiness. This model ensures that learners gain both theoretical knowledge and real-world application skills.

Primary School Grade RR to Grade 7

The primary school phase follows the CAPS curriculum but is enhanced through:

Learning Integrated and Interdisciplinary

- Subjects are taught in collaboration, creating meaningful connections between mathematics, sciences, languages, and creative subjects.

Vocational Skills

- Early exposure to technical skills like woodwork, electronics, and agriculture.

Coding and Robotics

- Embedded into the curriculum to build logical and computational thinking.

21st Century Learning

- Focus on collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

Entrepreneurship and Workplace Readiness

- Introduction to small business concepts, teamwork, and leadership.

Bridging the Gap

- Support programs for learners transitioning from traditional schools.

Assessment

- Continuous assessment, portfolio development, and project-based learning. Our approach focuses on a more holistic, stress-free way for students to demonstrate their growth. These assessments are designed to gauge understanding, celebrate achievements, and highlight areas for further learning—without the pressure of constant formal exams.

High School - Senior phase Grade 8 and Grade 9

This phase builds on the primary school model while introducing career-focused learning.

CAPS Curriculum Enhancement -

Learners follow the national curriculum but with deeper integration of practical skills.

IT and Coding -

Advanced programming and app development.

Career Choice Preparation -

Learners explore different industries through mentorships, job shadowing, and projects.

Entrepreneurship Development -

Learners start and manage small ventures.

Industry Collaboration -

Real-world projects with industry partners.
